Transition Sydney @ Permaculture North

A packed house (the usual situation) at Permaculture North's monthly meeting last night heard the Transition Sydney story of Peak Oil, Climate Change and the need for local community responses to build resilience and learn to live in an energy-restricted world.

A committed and resourceful group, Permaculture North is well equipped to take up the challenge of building local resilience and engaging positively with the community and local governments.  We enjoyed a very attentive audience and some lively questions, position statements and counter views afterwards.

All in all, a great night. Our thanks to Permaculture North for the invitation to present to their group. We know we will see good things come from their commitment and activism, and commit our assistance to their good efforts.
